Việt Nam

I hoped for years to one day see with my own eyes what Motherland would be like. It became a surreal experience when I finally visited Vietnam for the first time. I’m not going to lie. I had teary eyes when the plane landed. It then rolled into a series of special and healing moments for me. It was a blessing to be able to reconnect to my roots in the presence of my đẹp trai and family. We travelled 7 cities; started from the North to the Center and finished up in the South. I’ve seen such beautiful landscapes, met lovely locals, eaten amazing food and drunk incredibly fresh exotic fruit beverages.

Hue Historic Citadel, Vietnam

From top to bottom of the country, the list of highlights is endless. There’s too much to see and a lot is still to explore as well. While I cannot wait to go back and make more memories for new stories to tell, here are the latest anecdotes and recaps.

Once upon a time royals lived here. It has great food and varieties. It’s also here where I got my first jade bracelet.

Charming by day, romantic by night, the colourful lanterns give a sparks to this little city.

Da Nang
Newest city on the rise with numerous resorts under development. Beach, seafood, mountains, ruins and many more.

Island and main producer of nước mắm (fish sauce). Kind locals and new Vietnamese cuisine is flourishing.
